For instructions on downloading and installing version 10.1.2 as an update, see ZENworks System Updates in the ZENworks 10 Configuration Management Administration Reference.

3.3 Known Issues in Version 10.1.2

3.3.1 Patch Management Services now requires secure Internet access (HTTPS) by default

In the 10.1.2 update to Patch Management Services, the product has an additional security feature to ensure that all patch content downloaded from the Internet comes from a fully trusted source. In prior releases, only port 80 (HTTP) was required to be open to the Internet. For the 10.1.2 update, both port 80 (HTTP) and port 443 (HTTPS) must be accessible through any corporate firewall or proxy that is used to connect the ZENworks Server to the Internet.

If you experience connectivity issues after installing the 10.1.2 update, or if your server is running in an isolated network, you should turn off this feature by deselecting the SSL option on the Configuration > Patch Management Services > Download Options settings page.

3.3.2 Unable to upload the ZENworks Third-Party Imaging tools by using Firefox 2.0.0.18

(Fixed in v10.1.3) If ZENworks Control Center is launched by using Mozilla* Firefox* 2.0.0.18, you encounter the following error when you try to upload the ZENworks Third-Party Imaging tools (Configuration > Management Zone Settings > Device Management > Preboot Service > Third Party Imaging Settings):

Undefined

Workaround: Launch ZENworks Control Center by using any ZENworks supported browser other than Firefox 2.0.0.18, and upload the ZENworks Third-Party Imaging tools.

For more information about the supported browsers, see the ZENworks 10 Configuration Management Installation Guide.
