On the Novell Open Enterprise Server Downloads page, click the Download button next to the file you want.
Follow the on-screen prompts to download the file to a directory on your machine.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you have downloaded all the files you need.
After downloading and burning the images to CD or DVD, label the disks as indicated in the Deciding What to Download section above.
To ensure a successful installation, you must compare each downloaded file's MD5 value with the value listed on the OES Downloads page.
On a Linux system at the shell
prompt, enter the following command:
md5sum filename
where
filename is the name of the file you are verifying.
On a Windows system, obtain a Windows-compatible MD5-based checksum utility from the Web and follow the usage instructions for the utility.
