Overview

Welcome to NetWare^® 6 Support Pack 1. This Support Pack provides a number of enhancements and fixes to the initial release of NetWare 6.

The Support Pack software is available for download from the Novell Support Web site at the following links:

• Operating System software.
• Client software, including the latest Novell^® Client^TM for Windows*, ConsoleOne^® snap-ins, NMAS client, and NICI client. Scroll to the section titled NetWare 6 Support Pack Client Updates.

Instructions for installing the Support Pack are included with the download in the following files:

• NW6SP1.TXT: Main installation instructions
• NWOVLY.TXT: Instructions for creating an overlay installation
• ZFSSP.PDF: Instructions for using ZENworks^® for Servers to distribute the Support Pack

A description of known issues for various Support Pack 1 components is located in the individual component chapters of this book.
