Binding Numbered Single Point-to-Point

To perform a numbered single point-to-point binding:

  1. Select Remote Router will Dynamically Assign the IP Address, press Enter, select No, then Press Enter.

  2. Select WAN Network Mode, press Enter, select Numbered Single Point-to-Point, then press Enter.

  3. Select Local IP Address, press Enter, type the address assigned by the ISP for the WAN link, then press Enter.

  4. Select Subnet Mask of Connected Network, press Enter, type the subnet mask assigned by your ISP, then press Enter.

  5. Select WAN Call Destinations, then press Enter.

  6. Press Insert at the Configured WAN Call Destinations window.

  7. Select WAN Call Destination, press Enter, select the WAN Call Destination you defined earlier, then press Enter.

  8. Select Remote IP Address, press Enter, specify the address of your ISP system, then press Enter.

  9. Select Static Routing Table, then press Enter.

  10. Press Insert to create a new static route.

  11. Select Route Type, press Enter, select Network, then press Enter.

  12. Select IP address of the Network/Host, press Enter, type 0.0.0.0, then press Enter.

  13. Press Esc twice. Select Yes at the Update Database prompt, then press Enter.

  14. Press Esc to return to the Configured WAN Call Destinations window.

  15. Press Esc, select Yes at the Update Database prompt, then press Enter.

  16. Press Esc, select Yes at the Update TCP/IP Configuration prompt, then press Enter.

  17. Press Esc to return to the Internetworking Configuration menu.

    The block of addresses provided by your ISP for your network should be assigned to the network board in your server and the workstations on your LAN.
