21.0 Uninstalling Components

The uninstall tool allows you to perform a complete component uninstall.

NOTE:To uninstall eDirectory™, you must first uninstall iManager.

  1. To uninstall a component, click the Add/Remove menu panel tab. The removal of a component is the same whether it was a Basic or Advanced install.

  2. Click Uninstall on the row of the component you want to remove.

  3. Click Uninstall to proceed with the uninstall. Click Cancel to stop the uninstall.

  4. The component uninstall is now complete. Click Finish to proceed to the Add/Remove Software page. The component is now removed from the installed software list.

    NOTE:Uninstall does not always completely remove a package.
