When you click a file name, the default behavior is to either download the file and open it in an appropriate application or open it in a new browser tab, depending on the type of file.
To change this behavior:
Click your linked name in the upper right corner of any Filr page.
Click Personal Preferences.
In the When clicking a file drop-down list, select one of the following options:
Download or open the file: Files are either downloaded or opened in a new browser tab. (This is the default option.)
View the details page: The file is displayed on the details page.
The details page displays the file in HTML format. This page also includes file metadata, such as comments made on the file and Shared with and Shared by information.
View as HTML (if supported); otherwise, view details: The file is displayed in HTML format if the file type supports HTML preview (to see a list of file types that support HTML, see Section 6.4.2, Viewing the File in Your Web Browser). If the file type cannot be displayed in HTML format, the details page is displayed.

Click OK.
