Designer 3.0 now has support for the following languages (the same as Designer 2.1.1):
|
Any new Identity Vault, driver set, or server you add into Designer projects will default to
the new Identity Manager 3.6 engine version. This enables several new features as you configure
those systems.
If you would like any pre-existing objects in your projects to take advantage of the new Identity
Manager 3.6 features, you can upgrade the engine versions by editing the properties of
your servers. In the Outline view, right-click server icon and select Properties.
Also, you can configure default behaviors for a number of items by selecting Window > Preferences > Novell .
To enhance performance, if you have a lot of projects, you can now
disable and enable projects. This cuts down on the overhead of the behind-the-scenes processing that Designer
does to keep projects up-to-date.
When a project is disabled, you cannot open it and Designer skips all processing on it.
To disable a project, right-click on the project in the Project view and select Disable Project,
or Enable Project if the project has been disabled and you want the project to be enabled.
