In the Architect Modeler there is a new Image Tool - it's in its own Graphics
folder.
If you drag this in, it will show a generic graphic - editing the
properties of this will let you easily change the graphic (any size) and
optinally set a caption.
Once the image is in the Modeler, you can drag it around, change it, connect lines to it, align/distribute it, and delete it.
In the Architect Modeler, you can now connect any resource with any other resource, application, image, or
Identity Vault. This will allow you to express any relationship and makes the Architect Modeler more of a general-purpose
high-level business modeler. These other
lines will not show up when you switch over to the Developer Modeler
If you have a nested inner Domain and expand it, then the outer Domain, that is
hosting it, will now auto-increase in size so that it can show it without the inner Domain being cut off.
This will save you time from having to always manually resize parent domains, which can be tedious in these
situations.
Before | After |
The following new architect resources have been added:
When you drag & drop an application, it will always auto-connect to the closest
driver set. Before, there was a key combination where if you held down the Shift key and did the drag & drop,
then the application would not auto-connect to anything. But, this didn't always work and it sometimes caused
the auto-connect to not work. To avoid these problems, this key combination option is now gone, and it will
always auto-connect.
